The hotel was situated in the central location in the neighbourhood. Truly enjoyed the twin room we had. A hair dryer and bath sheets were available there.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were quite busy.

During my recent stay at Fujitaya Bnb, I was delighted to experience a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hosts and their little boys made me feel like part of their family, creating a homely environment throughout my stay. The communal lounge area with floor seating offered a cozy spot to relax. Additionally, the rental options for exercise shoes and bikes provided convenience for exploring the area. Another plus was the comfortable futon in my small yet comfy room, which allowed for a good night's sleep even though I'm quite tall. The bathroom facilities were exceptional, with superb toilets and fantastic showers that provided hot water at any time of the day. The cleanliness of the entire property was outstanding, and the semi-traditional feel with tatami mats and low seating added to its charm. The location, although not in the heart of the city, offered a calm and quiet neighborhood to enjoy. The combination of these factors made my stay at Fujitaya Bnb truly enjoyable.
There were a few drawbacks to my stay. the kitchen area was quite slim and required some time to prepare breakfast and clean up after myself.

The room was lovely and well-equipped, had smoke detectors for the safety. Central heating and a writing desk were available here too. The location of this hotel very close to Kyoto with the 205 bus stop right down the road, aquarium and kyoto Station by one bus straight and 230yen was peaceful.

The location was reasonably priced, because a train station was based close to the hotel. Units with futon beds.

The loft deck on the first floor was perfect for my sports bicycle rides. The cultural tours provided a glimpse into Japanese culture, which I'm sure will attract more people. The property had great safety features, like carbon monoxide detectors, because you never know when a fire extinguisher might come in handy.
Fire extinguishers and smoke detectors? Who needs those?

The location of the hotel is in a quieter part of town, away from the busy city center. It is surrounded by a supermarket and a minimart, making it convenient for guests to get any necessities they may need. The staff is very helpful and can speak English, which is not always common in this country.
The common space was dominated by a meditation group, limiting the ability for guests to interact and enjoy the communal vibe of the hotel.

I recently stayed at Fujitaya Bnb and had an amazing experience. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. They were able to communicate fluently in English, Chinese, and Japanese, which made it easy for me to communicate my needs. The facilities at the hostel were top-notch, with clean and quiet rooms, showers, and kitchen areas. I also appreciated the availability of free bananas, low-fat milk, rice, and cooking facilities. The hostel even had a recycling bin for plastic, which was a great eco-friendly touch. Additionally, I loved that guests could rent bicycles and join yoga and origami classes. Fujitaya Bnb was a gem in Kyoto, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting.
Nothing to dislike 👍
